Advantages of a Multivariate Longitudinal Approach to Educational Value-Added Assessment Without Imputation

Several statistical approaches to value-added modeling of educational test scores have been used over time. This paper compares these approaches and demonstrates the benefits of using a more complex, multivariate longitudinal approach rather than a more simplistic and easier to compute approach.
