British Ambassador's Residence

The new International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS 17) is expected to bring significant changes in the financial processing of insurance contracts and will indeed cause important changes on the business models of the Insurance Companies.

Although the IFRS 17 will be applied on January 1st, 2021, the degree of complexity necessary for its application is such, that it will have a huge impact on the Insurance Companies much earlier. It is estimated that the new financial model will bring the most significant changes so far, to the established structures, the IT systems and the collection of data required for its successful implementation.

SAS, a leading Business Analytics Software Company with vast experience in compliance projects like Basel, Solvency, AML D4, GDPR and IFRS9, invites you to participate to this information event about the IFRS17, aiming to highlight the most important aspects of these Standards.

During the event you will have the opportunity to learn about:

• the details of the IFRS17, analyzed by Greek Market Experts (Certified Auditors, Representatives of insurance companies, Consultants, Academics, and others..)
• the way, international insurance companies have already approached the IFRS17- the steps and the measures applied in order to comply with the specific requirements
• Best practices.
