Dear Boehringer customer,
As you probably know, Boehringer Ingelheim and SAS have partnered for several decades. We support Boehringer across the value chain, as well as the analysis of pooled project data with SAS for drug submissions to the authorities, like FDA and EMA. SAS is proud to support our partner in development of new drugs to help save patient lives.
SAS as a company is more than 45 years on the market and invests more than 20% every year of their revenue in R&D, a similar investment as Life Sciences companies make for the development of new drugs. We have developed an innovative SAS Viya Platform for our customers, for example to enable analytics in the cloud and for an easy integration with open-source languages. In addition, SAS Viya allows many other advanced analytical methods, such as artificial intelligence for the analysis of CT scan images.

I exclusively support SAS Life Science customers and have been doing so for 20 years. Prior to joining SAS, I worked in BioPharma R&D with focus on the coordination and analysis of clinical submission projects.
