As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Gavin Day helps define and execute SAS' long-term goals aligned with its vision to be the most trusted data and AI partner that powers the world's decisions. He oversees a multifaceted organization that includes Global Sales, Consulting, Finance, SAS' industry solutions, Technology Partnerships and IPO Readiness. 

In his role, Day focuses on empowering customers and partners while preserving SAS' meaningful culture for its employees.

"Now, as we look ahead to our next 50 years, we know we have the right strategy in place to drive growth and continued market leadership in data and AI while still maintaining the culture that is core to who we are."

Charged with being a change agent, Day has guided the transformation of numerous internal systems and processes to better prepare SAS to operate as a public company. He also continues to strengthen relationships with technology and channel partners worldwide.

Day has held several leadership positions across his 25 years at SAS, including Executive Vice President in the Office of the CEO, Senior Vice President of Corporate Programs, and Senior Vice President of Technology. He also held the Senior Vice President of US Commercial Sales role, managing several business, presales, and sales operations teams. Day joined SAS when it acquired DataFlux, a company he helped grow into an industry-leading provider of data management software.
