Wolf Lichtenstein


Wolf Lichtenstein, born in 1959, became the General Manager of SAS on January 1, 2008. Since May of 2011, he also holds responsibility for the overall strategic management and success of SAS’s business in the region comprising Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. He additionally heads SAS’s operations in the Israeli market.

Mr. Lichtenstein is an active member of a number of trade associations and committees including the board of directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Germany, Atlantik-Brücke e.V., and united-europe e.V. Mr. Lichtenstein also serves as a member of the scientific advisory board of the University of Heidelberg and HCI-Heidelberg Club International.

Holding degrees in psychology and computer science, Wolf Lichtenstein has been at SAS for a total of twelve years. From 2005 to 2008, he led SAS Germany’s sales activities in his capacity as Sales Director.

Mr. Lichtenstein’s professional career includes heading European operations for the campaign management provider Prime Response as well as tenures on the boards of the consulting firm People at Work and a joint venture between McKinsey and General Atlantic.
