New SAS® stress test technology preps banks for regulatory “exams” and “pop quizzes”

SAS international event on Analytics lands for the first time in Rome. Analytics 2015 is a three-day conference for anyone who wants to build an analytics culture in an international environment. The conference provides a networking and training path to get inspired and gain practical and strategic insights on all emerging analytics technologies and approaches. This annual event brings together more than 700 data professionals and business users.

The conference has grown to deliver value for attendees in all roles: data scientists, industry experts, analysts and statisticians, business professionals, leading researchers, academics and executives, too. The event started monday with training courses on the latest innovative technologies and solutions to succeed in the new data-rich world.

Several topics about Analytics were discussed during plenaries, breakout and training sessions: Big Data Analytics and Hadoop, High-Performance Analytics, Advanced Analytics, Data Mining and Factory Miner, SAS® Visual Analytics and SAS® Visual Statistics, Internet of Things and Analytics of Things, Predictive Forecasting, Risk Management, Fraud Management, Cyber Security, Social and Customer Experience Digital Marketing.

In the morning (10 and 11) plenary sessions featured recognized analytics thought leaders and experts such as Jer Thorp, Data Visualization Artist, Philippe Mathieu, European Space Agency, Rahaf Harfoush, Strategist and Digital Anthropologist and Jill Dyché, Vice President of Best Practices, SAS.

In the afternoon, the conference featured breakout sessions that include presentations from international public and private organizations, in every industry, along with talks by leading global experts.

Both days, a live demo area has been operational: with the support of our partners and SAS experts was possible to try the latest innovative technologies and solutions.
