Roderick Crawford
Senior Vice President – Northern Europe, SAS

Roderick joined SAS in 2016 following a career spanning fifteen years at IBM where he held various international leadership roles in systems, software and channel management. In his first four years at SAS, Roderick led our Public Sector team in the UK and Ireland and had oversight of our European Government business too. In November 2020, Roderick took on responsibility for SAS’s operating company in the UK and Ireland as Regional Vice President and Country General Manager. 

Latterly, in January 2022, Roderick’s regional responsibilities were expanded to include those countries making up SAS’s Nordics region. In his role as Senior Vice President, SAS Northern Europe, Roderick’s mission is to bring an unparalleled level of innovation, inspiration and value to all of our SAS clients helping them to achieve their vision for data-analytics far faster and as efficiently as possible. 

Roderick is married, with two children and lives in Devon with his wife and his four dogs. Roderick is a passionate follower of Exeter Chiefs rugby club, an avid reader with a keen interest in modern classics and a lover of the performing arts from theatre to classical music.
