Keith was on his way to retirement after running his own consulting firm for 16 years. As he was wrapping things up, he got a call from SAS that changed everything.

“I was running my consulting business for 16 years. It was a great experience, and I learned a lot; but I was starting to get tired after travelling 45 weeks out of the year,” he says. “SAS Talent Acquisition called me from out of nowhere and asked if I was willing to have a conversation. Now I’m part of this wonderful organization!”

Keith works on our Organizational Effectiveness and Development team delivering sales training across the Asia Pacific region. His specialty is induction training, helping to shorten the learning curve of SAS’ Sales team. “I love meeting new hires at Induction training. I enjoy seeing their enthusiasm and energy, and I share their excitement!

Keith has brought his passion and excitement for Sales to SAS offices in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Raleigh, Singapore, Sydney and Taipei – “My passport is ready for more immigration stamps!” he says.

But Keith’s favorite part about SAS isn’t the travelling – it’s the people he works with every day. “We’ve got smart, committed people here who strive for excellence and are committed to our customers,” he says. Keith draws inspiration from SAS’ vision - to turn a world of data into a world of intelligence. “There’s so much data out there, and most of it is useless. SAS adds value by making turning data into meaningful insights,” he muses.

Outside the office, you’ll find Keith on-the-go – travelling is his passion! “There are two things I enjoy – eating and travel. Hey, I’m Asian – I eat almost anything! I love to try new foods – I may not like it, but I’m willing to give it a try!” he laughs. “Nothing beats immersing myself in the local culture, food, architecture and way of life of new places. The world is huge!”
