Course Notes: 50% off Advanced Reporting Techniques Course

Advanced Reporting Techniques is a Level IV course for students who are already familiar with basic report writing techniques and who want to use more advanced techniques to create reports using SAS programming statements. Besides covering advanced data _NULL_ issues, this is the only course SAS offers that covers advanced aspects of topics such as compute block processing, absolute column addressing and usage of the call define statement in Proc Report. The course also covers aspects of Proc Tabulate, including creating percentages and formatting them, working with page dimensions, using options such as CLASSDATA and EXCLUSIVE and nesting in the row dimension.

A discussion of creating table templates and style templates is also included, as well as a discussion on using ODS with Proc Report and Proc Tabulate to change the appearance of the reports and perform traffic lighting. Students will come away from Advanced Reporting Techniques with better report problem-solving skills and with the ability to use the STYLE= override options in Proc Report and Proc Tabulate to send ODS style information to a result file in ODS destinations that support style. For a full list of topics covered, view the course outline.
