INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX E9BC59 ON WINDOWS for IPF (64 bit)
BEFORE DOWNLOADING:
The hot fix E9BC59 addresses the issue(s) in SAS 9.1.3 (9.1 TS1M3)
of Base SAS software on Windows for IPF (64 bit) as documented in the
"Issue(s) Addressed" section of the hot fix download page:

IMPORTANT NOTE(S):
1. You must have SAS 9.1.3 (9.1 TS1M3) and SAS 9.1.3 Service Pack 4
installed on your system before applying this hot fix.
2. You must have Administrator Privileges on your CLIENT or SERVER machine.
3. All currently active SAS sessions, daemons, spawners and servers must
be terminated before applying this hot fix.
A Metadata Server re-start is required in order to pick up changes
in this hot fix.
AFTER DOWNLOADING:
The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named
e9bc59w6.exe. Launching the executable will initiate the install wizard,
which will guide you through the setup process. The following files will
be installed:
* tkomi.dll
the replacement module containing the hot fix
* tkoms.dll
the replacement module containing the hot fix
* omaassc.sas7bdat
the replacement data set containing the hot fix
* e9bc59w6.aud
a hot fix identifier file that will allow Technical Support
to determine which fixes have been applied to a system
* e9bc59w6.txt
a copy of these installation instructions; this file is installed
in !SASROOT\core\sasinst\hotfix
* checksums and *.ini files for use in a future implementation of SASIQ
validation testing
POST INSTALLATION:
Step 1: Modify omaconfig.xml file in order to fully implement the fix for
Problem Note 33984: Poor performance occurs in client applications
when the metadata environment contains a large number of repositories

After installing this hot fix edit your omaconfig.xml file in Lev1/SASMain
and add the tag

Step 2: Re-start the Metadata Server
A Metadata Server re-start is required in order to pick up changes in this hot fix.
