INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FIX 61AB01 ON WINDOWS BEFORE DOWNLOADING: The hot fix 61AB01 addresses the issue(s ) in Release 6.1 of SAS Activity-Based Management Solution software on Windows as documented in the "Issue(s) Addressed" section of the hot fix download page: http://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/abm61.html IMPORTANT NOTE(S): 1. You must have Release 6.1 of SAS Activity-Based Management Solution installed on your system before applying this hot fix. Do not apply this hot fix to Release 6.0 of SAS Activity-Based Management Solution. 2. If, after installing this hot fix, users experience errors (“Failed to send model to server”) importing Oros models or XML, it may be necessary for them to clear the checkbox labeled “Log in using my current credentials” and enter their credentials manually. AFTER DOWNLOADING: STEP 1: The hot fix package downloaded is a self extracting executable named 61ab01wn.exe. Run the executable and extract the contents to a folder on a local drive on the SAS ABM server or to a path that is mapped to a drive on the server. Do not attempt to install the hot fix from a UNC path (e.g., \\MyMachine\C$\MyFiles\). After extracting, execute the hotfix.cmd file, to apply the hot fix to the SAS ABM server. STEP 2: The SAS ABM hot fix includes files that must be installed to each ABM client. Therefore, once the hot fix is installed to the SAS ABM server, you must uninstall the SAS ABM client (SAS Activity-Based Management Solution) from each client machine. Then, launch Microsoft Internet Explorer on each client machine, browse to the client installation page (http://your servername/oeserver) and click the Configure Client Installation link. This will install the updated SAS ABM client to the client machine. No steps are necessary to apply the hot fix to the SAS Activity-Based Management Administrator. STEP 3: To ensure that published reports can be viewed properly from each client, launch Microsoft Internet Explorer on each client machine and examine the Security section on the Advanced tab of Tools, Internet Options. Make sure that there is not a checkmark beside the option “Do not save encrypted pages to disk”. This completes the installation of hot fix 61AB01 on Windows.
