Accenture recently surveyed more than 1,500 executives from nine industries across 20 countries globally. Findings from this survey (available in "Supply Chain Mastery" report) indicate that supply chain leaders tend to have on an average 10 percent higher forecast accuracy than others and up to 13 percent higher order fulfillment rate while maintaining as much as 50 percent less finished goods inventory.
