ANSI Differences

pointer subtraction: p1-->p2 is permitted even if p1 and p2 point to types that are not compatible, provided that objects pointed to have the same sizes.
relational/equality operators: p1 operator p2 is permitted, even if p1 and p2 point to types that are not compatible. p operator i is permitted, where p is of pointer type and i is of integral type and is positive.
sizeof expression: expression is actually evaluated in the sizeof calculation.
