His career includes roles at Kewill Systems, Data General, Oracle Corp., Dimensional Insight, Cognos and Progress Software. At Aberdeen Group, White is a Senior Research Analyst in the Business Intelligence Practice with a major focus on understanding the business value derived from the use of business intelligence (BI), and how organizations use BI to drive strategic and operational change. White has a BS in computer science from Hertfordshire University and an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management.
Product Marketing Manager
Lisa Pappas is a Technology Product Market Manager for SAS focusing on business intelligence and data visualization. While in SAS R&D, she developed strategies to assess and improve conformance of SAS products to international standards for accessibility (the usability of technology by people with disabilities). Before joining SAS, Pappas' career included engineering project management, Web design and development, and technical communication of various genres. The author of several papers, articles and scholarly chapters on accessibility, information architecture and Web usability, Pappas earned her Master of Science in technical communication from North Carolina State University.
