This session features our expert panel from the February 2010 webcast Preparing for the Recovery as they discuss how last year's predictions for the hotel and gaming industries turned out, the economic and industry climate they expect in 2011, and how you can carry over the lessons learned during the recession to strategies for growth in 2011 and beyond.

Industry experts from Cornell University and SAS will:

  • Compare their 2010 predictions to what really happened.
  • Predict industry performance for 2011 and beyond.
  • Describe the impact of the recession on consumer behavior and discuss implications for the future.
  • Outline the knowledge and skills industry managers need to be successful in the "new economy."

We’ll also speak to leading global organizations such as Caesars Entertainment, Bamboo Revenue and Minor Hotels Ltd. to get their thoughts about the recovery and predictions for the future.
