Juan ZarateJuan Zarate, former Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy National Security Advisor for Combating Terrorism
Zarate served as the Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy National Security Advisor for Combating Terrorism from 2005 to 2009. In this role, he developed and oversaw the implementation of the US government's counterterrorism strategy, including chairing the Counterterrorism Security Group.
