Preceding her worldwide marketing experience, she was responsible for SAS Americas' business intelligence field market strategy – working with customers, thought leaders and industry experts to secure and maintain SAS' position as a leader in business intelligence. In her current role, Ellen is responsible for researching current market trends in financial services to help determine strategy and direction for new banking- and investment-focused technology solutions. Prior to her industry focus, Joyner directed SAS’ CRM initiative, focused on providing technology to help clients deploy customer-driven strategies for increased customer profitability and retention. Solutions in this initiative include packaged business solutions for vertical industry applications, as well as an integrated suite of software tools and consulting services, that allow companies to transform the wide variety of data within their organizations into intelligence that business executives need to make better decisions.
Joyner joined SAS in 1987 as an account manager, and her talents and interest soon led her to the area of quality improvement marketing. Prior to coming to SAS, Joyner was a computer programmer for ATM transaction analysis and reporting at CCB Bank in North Carolina. She has also worked as a consultant, setting up computer-aided programs to track and schedule medical appointments.

From an analytic professional perspective during his time at PREMIER Bankcard, he continues to be responsible for portfolio data mining and predictive modeling, among other project leadership roles. Pruitt has a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing management from Bellevue University, NE. The majority of his career has been focused on the study of corporate data and how it can be turned into a revenue source. Pruitt has been in the analytics profession since 1986 and is extremely proficient with SAS software solutions.
Pruitt has spent almost three decades supporting the financial services and insurance industries. Chris Swecker is a practicing Attorney and Independent Consultant for Swecker Enterprises, specializing in Financial Crimes and Money Laundering mitigation strategies and speaks frequently on those topics. He has 30 years of experience in law enforcement, national security, legal, corporate security and risk management positions. In 2006 he retired from the third highest executive position in the FBI. As CSO for Bank of America from July 2006 to January 2009 Chris Swecker led fraud, privacy,due diligence and employment screening investigations; physical security; international security and executive protection. He provided strategic direction and overall management for over 600 proprietary associates and 3800 to 4000 contract security guards with an overall budget of over $250 million. Emphasizing the use of advanced analytical software, security technology and fusion of open source, government and internal information to drive strategies to prevent fraud, privacy and security events Swecker reduced fraud losses by over $50 million and armed bank robberies by over 25%. Swecker created a Security Operations Analysis and Command Center (SOAC) to support crisis management and security operations worldwide. The SOAC managed the largest alarm, access control and digital video surveillance system in the financial sector with responsibility for 6100 bank branches,18,000 ATMs and 450 administrative facilities. Swecker led efforts to integrate people, processes and technology across 12 different bank components related to fraud detection and investigations, Anti Money Laundering and data security. Swecker was a member of the bank’s Management Operating Committee.
Chris Swecker served 24 years as a Special Agent/Inspector with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) before retiring as Acting Executive Assistant Director (EAD) in charge of nine FBI divisions including cyber, criminal, international operations, training, crisis management, operational technology, criminal justice information and law enforcement liaison divisions encompassing more than half of the FBI’s total resources. Swecker also served as the FBI’s On Scene Commander in Iraq in 2003 where he led a team of FBI Agents examining terrorist financing, counter-intelligence and terrorism activities which included investigations of suicide bombings of the UN headquarters and dozens of other locations. Swecker's team also assisted military components in tactical Counter Insurgency and Terrorist Operations. As head of the FBI's Criminal Division, Swecker led all National and International aspects of the FBI’s Criminal Investigations. He was instrumental in the development of the FBI's post 9-11 strategies, leveraging criminal investigative resources to support counter terrorism/intelligence efforts and the prioritization of criminal investigative programs. He led national multi-agency task forces on corporate fraud, violent gangs, financial crimes, crimes against children, public corruption and organized crime.
From 1999 to 2005 Swecker served as Special Agent in Charge of North Carolina Operations where he presided over two of the most significant terrorism cases in the country one involving the capture of the Atlanta Olympic bomber. Prior to that time he held posts as Special Agent, Supervisory Special Agent and Assistant Special Agent in Charge in Oklahoma City, Miami and Houston. He also served in the Civil Litigation Unit at FBI headquarters in Washington from 1985-1987 and as an Assistant District Attorney from 1981-1982 in the First District of NC.
Swecker has testified before Congress on topics such as identity theft, crimes against children, mortgage fraud, human trafficking, financial crimes, information privacy and data compromise, crimes on the internet, human trafficking and gangs. He has also appeared as a guest on such media programs as 60 Minutes, Oprah Winfrey, Good Morning America, CSPAN Washington Journal and North Carolina People.
Swecker received the prestigious Presidential Rank Award in 2003 for his service in Iraq and as Special Agent in Charge of the NC Office. Swecker is a graduate of Appalachian State University where he was a 4 year varsity football letterman, graduating in 1978. He attended Wake Forest School of Law receiving his Juris Doctor in 1981.
