SAS and Oracle ‘s "Modernize and Optimize" joint initiative is focused on assisting large enterprise customers get more from their current SAS on Oracle environments by taking advantage of the latest SAS Analytical Solutions and Oracle Exastack technologies.

SAS and Oracle account teams, supported by the partnership’s dedicated resources, together can analyze and access current SAS environments. They leverage their in-depth technical expertise and experience to provide customers architectural recommendations to "Modernize and Optimize".

Oracle and SAS offer a Value Complete Grid-in-a-Box Solution that delivers enterprise-class capabilities that enable SAS solutions to automatically leverage a centrally managed grid infrastructure available on Oracle’s Exalogic Engineered System. 

The Value Complete solution reduces the complexity of designing, implementing and managing a SAS Grid Computing environment and offers:

  • Power and Speed:  Exalogic’s powerful “INfiniband” system interconnect capabilities provide unparalleled  I/O  throughput often required to effectively process large SAS mixed workload jobs.
