¿Qué hace diferente a SAS®?

  • Collaborative data integration. Enhancements to SAS Data Integration help organizations seeking to efficiently wring more value from all their data sources and streamline the design process. Enhanced performance tuning and monitoring, alerts, easier debugging, automated recommendations and a more intuitive GUI are among the new capabilities that provide improved cross-enterprise collaboration, ease of use and increased processing speed.
  • Advanced analytics. Customers can analyze and visualize data in more ways than ever with hundreds of enhancements to SAS Analytics products, including new algorithms, improved modeling capabilities, easy-to-use production quality graphics, enhanced data and process visualization, and the ability to process large, complex data sets faster. Advanced analytics allow organizations to predict future behavior and seize possibilities ahead of their competitors.
  • Extended use of evidence-based decisions. Reporting enhancements expand information use to a wider community within an enterprise, promoting a culture of fact-based decision making. With new features such as Microsoft SharePoint integration, high- impact and engaging Adobe Flash-based interactivity and other user-centric capabilities, more valuable intelligence is available to users within familiar environments. This is achieved with less administration overhead and reduced reliance on IT or other support organizations.
  • Enterprise-class software improvements for IT. To help IT handle growing demands and make the SAS environment easier to manage, SAS 9.3 brings important enhancements, such as a new wizard-based interface, to streamline the deployment and configuration process and comprehensive logging and monitoring capabilities. SAS 9.3 also takes advantage of standards for systems management, security and change management.

  • Address specific problems with greater precision and confidence. SAS 9.3 supports the entire analysis process — from data access to the point of decision — however varied or complex. A wide range of data integration techniques empowers organizations to collect, classify, process, analyze and interpret data to reveal new insights. SAS 9.2 advances the capabilities of all major SAS analytical products, including forecasting, data mining, optimization and model management. SAS Analytics provide rapid answers to key business questions, enabling decision makers to react more quickly to fast-changing conditions.
  • Improve productivity. SAS 9.3 delivers new functionality aimed directly at speeding up the creation, processing and delivery of results. These productivity gains apply whether the user is in IT handling the installation, configuration and management of the software; a data integration or data quality steward handling data management workflow; a user building or navigating reports; or a business analyst/statistician working in the areas of data and text mining or forecasting.
  • Effectively manage the SAS environment to meet growing demand for intelligence. With SAS 9.3, many new capabilities have been added to make it easier than ever to get the power of SAS up and running and keep it running in an optimal manner as use increases. Comprehensive new logging and management functionalities ensure reliability, visibility and manageability of the SAS platform. Server status now can be managed from third-party tools, and servers can be started and stopped in a controlled manner remotely, making the SAS environment more reliable for business users and easier to manage for IT.
