SAS pedal power to raise money for The Princes TrustLocal business gets in gear for charity challenge20 September 2010 - On Sunday, September 26th 2010 a team from Marlow-based business analytics firm, SAS, will take part in the Palace to Palace cycle ride, peddling an impressive 45 miles between Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle. The 50-strong team, which includes UK managing director and Henley man, Ian Manocha and marketing director Richard Kellett, have already raised over £8,400 for The Princes Trust – already £3,400 over the original target of £5,000. The money will go towards giving practical and financial support to young people, helping them to develop key workplace skills such as confidence and motivation. “It’s fantastic to be involved with such a worthwhile cause,” said Manocha. “At SAS we’re passionate about giving back to the local community, and I’m very proud that so many of my colleagues have signed up to support this event both in physically taking part and supporting through sponsorship donations. “There’ll be some sore legs in the office come Monday, but seeing the sponsorship money come in will make it all worthwhile.” If you’d like to speak to a member of the SAS team about their upcoming charity mission, please do get in touch.
