TM Lewin taps into SAS business analytics to align operations with commercial targets28 April 2010 - TM Lewin, a leading UK retailer has chosen SAS®, the leader in Business Analytics software and services, to deliver an enterprise-wide management reporting and merchandise planning platform to support aggressive growth plans. The reporting framework will enable easy access to relevant data including stock levels and sales information throughout the company while the integrated planning solution will provide alignment of the merchandise range with commercial targets. Using SAS, TM Lewin has the capability to set financial goals based on historic, present and future demand, and analyse performance data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities. By combining disparate data from across the organisation, the company can look inside its business to see where best to focus management attention in order to maximise profitability and raise customer satisfaction and ultimately customer loyalty. TM Lewin is planning to use SAS Analytics to pinpoint where best to make future investments and to identify where its competitive advantage can be used to exploit business opportunities in the retail sector.
