Working with and learning from each other
Duration – Fast and EffectiveThe Academy programme is rolebased; meaning that members only need attend those modules directly related to their implementation role. Modules are designed to be short duration events, fitting into the real world of project implementations and busy work schedules. Where possible web-based seminars and self paced e-learning content will also be used to reinforce key learning points and provide an alternative to face to face attendance. As each module is based on reallife scenarios, it is important that members have the necessary prerequisite skills and level of experience prior to attending (details of prerequisites required for each module can be found in the module synopsis). The pre-requisite skills may be acquired in many different ways including instructor-led training courses, self paced e-learning content, white papers or other recommended reading material. |
Continuous StudyAfter attending these modules members will be encouraged to continue their professional development. SAS is making available the same content that we use for our internal training, whether it is e-learning, seminar or instructor-led. Members of the Academy will be made aware of this content through a quarterly email newsletter. This quarterly newsletter will contain the schedule of upcoming events together with hints and tips, key self-service web sites and advance notification of other relevant conferences, Special Interest Group meetings and Partner events. |
