Qualifications

SAS®9.2 Platform Deployment Certification Members who will be responsible for the installation and configuration of SAS environments can become a SAS® 9.2 Platform Deployment Specialist. This certification is new to 2009 and is open only to SAS and Partner employees. This highly prestigious qualification includes an assessment of practical skills as well as acquired knowledge and successful candidates join an elite group of consultants worldwide who are fully certified. The certification consists of a 3 hour written exam and four practical scenarios. Each practical scenario is allocated up to 8 hours for completion. SAS®9.2 Platform Deployment Certification Exam (written) SAS®9.2 Platform Deployment Practical Exam These examinations require the candidate to have the specific knowledge necessary to successfully deploy SAS Platform software components consisting of SAS Enterprise BI and SAS Enterprise DI software. The practical scenarios are denoted by the middle tier deployment for the installation and consist of the following configurations: Windows/JBoss Middle Tier Solaris/BEA WebLogic Middle Tier AIX/IBM WebSphere Middle Tier Linux/JBoss Middle Tier Each candidate will be expected to install all required software components for the selected scenario, including all Third Party components.
