SAS UK Announces New Risk Management Practice


SAS UK Announces New Risk Management Practice SAS has launched its new UK Risk Management Practice that builds on a strong track record for enterprise risk solutions. The new practice, drawing on SAS' 26 years of experience, will focus on helping organisations in the financial services and energy sectors to identify and understand their overall exposure to risk and to establish a strong risk position to report to regulators and stakeholders.

Peyman Mestchian will head up the Risk Management Practice with a team of experts in both the financial services and energy sectors. Mestchian has over 15 years experience in risk management. He is a published thought-leader on risk technology and corporate governance, and was Director of the Business Risk Consulting Practice at Ernst & Young. The new practice will deliver software solutions that address the critical risk needs of organisations. These include Market, Credit and Operational Risk Systems providing best-in-class solutions ranging from data collection and aggregation, risk analysis and reporting.
