SAS First to Automate Enterprise Grid Computing Capabilities
SAS has become the industry's first and only solution capable of automatically grid-enabling multiple applications on a single platform. Grid computing users can now get greater flexibility, scalability and reliability for managing applications across an enterprise by using the new automated grid management capability. Scheduling and job flow is also improved by the integration of grid management functions to SAS' data integration and data mining products.

SAS takes Data Integration to New Heights with Improved ETL Cycle
SAS announced today new features of SAS® Enterprise ETL Server which will increase productivity and add flexibility to the extraction, transformation and load (ETL) cycle. SAS is the first vendor to offer advanced change analysis capabilities and also offers automatic support for grid computing, making it even easier for companies to gain the speed and productivity gains available.

The AA: A Happy Marriage
The AA, the UK's largest motoring organisation, anticipates a prosperous future by partnering with SAS. "The SAS® Enterprise Intelligence Platform is forming a fundamental part of our business intelligence strategy moving forward," says Diana Kennedy, the AA's head of architecture and planning. "It's important to us to have a single vendor because best-of-breed integration is hard and expensive. With SAS, we're in the luxurious position of having a vendor that not only has a single solution, but is also best of breed."

Lower Costs through Optimised Data Storage for Business Intelligence
SAS offers the only highly scalable storage environment that delivers a combination of options designed from the outset to support business intelligence and analytic intelligence applications and deliver fast extraction, transformation and loading times irrespective of the amount of data held within an organisation. Don't just take our word for it. Download this recent Bloor Research audit on data warehousing with SAS, plus further validation from SAS customers who have deployed SAS to provide significant business benefits.
