In this issue, we bring you news of a new audio magazine from SAS® Customer Services. Stored in MP3 format, the audio magazine contains SAS news and hints and tips. Plus, you have the opportunity to claim your own stylish MP3 player, just by booking and attending a public SAS course before 1 July 2005.

We're also starting the countdown to the SAS Forum UK 2005. Many of you will have been SAS users for a considerable number of years and will have experienced the evolution of SAS technology over that period. At the same time, you will have seen the use of intelligence within your organisation evolve. From being a niche speciality, the delivery of intelligence about your organisation and its customers has become central to your organisation’s performance. So how do we share intelligence across the enterprise and maximise the value from our work?

Find out by joining us in Birmingham on 2-3 November to experience the evolution of intelligence through presentations from leading UK companies and SAS experts, hands-on demonstrations, one-to-one discussions, and finally to celebrate 25 years of SAS in the UK. TECHNOLOGY & SOLUTIONS

SAS Powers Business Intelligence at all Levels of the Company
Business Intelligence differentiates itself from traditional management information systems by providing information to all types of users. It joins data silos, creating a single version of the truth and allows the business to have a joined up view of its processes. This ensures that the business user doesn't just see what happened in the past, but also understands why it happened, what might happen in the future and the best that could be achieved. Read how Briggs and Stratton, a leading engine manufacturer in U.S., have taken this approach to their business.

SAS® Business Intelligence Interactive Tour
Learn how to leverage enterprise data to maximise value, minimise risk and optimise performance with the SAS® Business Intelligence Interactive Tour. The tour includes screen demos of key SAS Business Intelligence capabilities, an overview of the SAS Advantage in providing business intelligence for your organisation, and an overview of the SAS Difference in distinguishing SAS from other BI vendors.

Grid Computing: Get More Mileage from Your IT Resources
Would you like to halve the time it takes to execute long-running SAS jobs, or increase SAS job performance by up to 97 percent? And achieve these gains using your existing hardware? Running SAS in a grid environment can deliver these benefits and more.
