Accessing SAS® Data from Microsoft® Office Applications

Description
This course provides an overview of SAS
Add-In for Microsoft Office and shows
how it can be used to directly access SAS
information from Microsoft Office applications.
You learn how to run SAS Stored Processes
and use SAS tasks for processing data
directly from inside a Microsoft Excel or
Microsoft Word document. In addition, you will
learn how to access and work with existing
SAS data from Microsoft Excel.
Prerequisite Skills
No SAS experience or programming experience
is required although you should have some
experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Specifically, you should be able to:
- open and save documents
- use the menus and toolbars to accomplish tasks
- navigate Word documents and Excel spreadsheets.
