Description
This course focuses on producing reports with the REPORT, TABULATE, MEANS, FREQ and FORMAT procedures. The course covers ODS-specific topics, and an introduction to the STYLE= statement-level method of altering output. Also covered are cascading style sheets with ODS HTML. Using ODS and the DATA step to produce tabular reports for varied destinations is also included as well as extensive coverage of the SAS/GRAPH facility.
Prerequisites
Before attending this course, you should have: Completed the SAS Essentials: An Introduction to SAS Programming course or have at least six months of SAS programming experience. Specifically you should be able to: Use and understand the syntax of SAS procedures. Use the DATA step to read external files and create, subset, and merge SAS data sets. Control DATA step logic using IF-THEN/ELSE statements and logical operators.

Objectives
After attending this course you will be able to: Produce detailed reports with the REPORT procedure and summary reports with the REPORT, TABULATE, MEANS, AND FREQ procedures. You will also gain hands on experience applying the FORMAT procedure which includes using tempory and user-defined formats and using PICTURE formats to enhance reports.
