Exporting Formatted Output to Microsoft Excel using the Output Delivery System

Description

The Output Delivery System (ODS) enables you to produce output in a variety of formats, such as: an HTML file; a traditional SAS Listing; a PostScript file; an RTF file (for use with Microsoft Word); an output data set.

During this live web class you will export formatted SAS output created using ODS HTML, ODS HTML3, ODS MSOFFICE2K and ODS TAGSET.EXCELXP to Microsoft® Excel.

To ensure the effectiveness of the training you will be invited to join a dedicated group on SAS Professionals where you can provide examples of how you are using Base SAS to export to Microsoft® Excel at work. These examples and any questions will be open to discussion during the class.

Prerequisites

Before attending this course, you should have attended the SAS Programming 1: Essentials course or have the equivalent knowledge and experience. Basic knowledge of the SAS Output Delivery System (ODS) and simple invocation techniques is helpful but not required.
