Description

Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) is a method of dynamically exchanging information between Windows applications. You can use DDE with the DATA step, the SAS macro facility, SAS/AF applications, or any other portion of SAS that requests and generates data. DDE has many potential uses, one of which is to acquire data from a Windows spreadsheet or database application.

During this live web session you will export unformatted SAS® output using Dynamic Data Exchange to Microsoft® Excel. You will also be invited to join a dedicated group on SAS Professionals where you can provide examples of how you are using DDE at work. These examples and any questions will be open to discussion during the class.
