Statistical Analyst
Duration
3 hours
Description
This session is one of a series of short Live Web classes exploring new features and functionality within SAS®9.2 software.
This course shows new features for performing basic statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, and linear regression.
Prerequisites
Before attending this course, you should:
- be familiar with content in the Statistics I: Introduction to ANOVA, Regression, and Logistic Regression course. Although
completion of that course is not necessary, understanding of the statistical and SAS content taught in that course is needed.
- be familiar with SAS procedure syntax.
- understand confidence intervals.
- understand hypothesis testing and p-values.
- be familiar with ANOVA, including post-hoc pairwise tests.
- be familiar with linear regression.
SAS Modules Used
This course addresses SAS/STAT, SAS/GRAPH.
Course Topics
Base SAS Statistical Procedures
- introduction to ODS Statistical Graphics
- new options in PROC UNIVARIATE
T-Tests and Analysis of Variance
- new options in PROC TTEST
- ANOVA
- ANOVA Post Hoc tests
- ANOVA with interactions
Linear Regression Analysis
- correlation
- regression analysis and the REG Procedure
- model building in the REG Procedure
- regression diagnostics
Objectives
After attending this live web session you will be able to:
- generate ODS graphics in PROC UNIVARIATE (Experimental), PROC TTEST, PROC GLM, and PROC REG
- use the new PPPLOT option in PROC UNIVARIATE
- perform TOST equivalence tests in PROC TTEST
- create plots to explain SAS residuals and model fit tables
