Staff Profiles / Enterprise Architects

An experienced architect working with customers across Retail, Government, Banking and Energy to integrate SAS solutions in their enterprise.

With over 11 years SAS experience and a firm background in analytics and information systems, previously working in the Department for Work & Pensions where he was responsible for the design of one of UK governments most complex architectures that delivers the foundation for Departments customer warehouse strategy and it's exploitation for BI, evidence based policy, customer insight, fraud prevention & detection and risk modelling.

Prior to the chief architect role, Mark lead the Departments central SAS practice, his team helping to develop some of the major models and studies used within DWP and wider government and academia. Also delivering training and developing programs to assist the Departments professional analysts.

Before moving into Information Services Mark was a warranted Government Investigator, specialising in intelligence lead detection, surveillance and evidence gathering as well as spearheading multi-agency operational teams.

In my spare time...

I spend time with my family, exploring and discovering all that the North East of England has to offer including the picturesque coastline, rich industrial heritage and historic monuments.
