A-lehdet
A-lehdet, one of Finland's leading media companies, is implementing SAS Customer Intelligence solutions to increase multichannel marketing campaign profitability. A-lehdet, publisher of 20 magazines with approximately 5.5 million readers, uses SAS Marketing Automation, SAS Marketing Optimization, SAS Interaction Management and SAS Web Analytics to boost its marketing success.

"A-lehdet customers want information on products and services that meet their specific needs. This is where analytical customer relationship management (CRM) has significant value, allowing us to better target our  marketing", said A-lehdet's managing director, Vesa Mars. "SAS' customer intelligence solutions will not only help increase customer satisfaction and loyalty, but also improve campaign profitability."

"Operational CRM and ERP systems are focused on automation, not on helping companies understand the value of their customer relationships", said Phil Winters, vice president of Customer Intelligence, SAS International. "Delivering that insight is SAS' forte. By leveraging the existing data that customers like A-lehdet already have, SAS allows that information to subsequently drive consistently profitable sales. No other vendor can match SAS' analytical capabilities."

SAS Customer Intelligence solutions allow companies to easily manage and deliver sophisticated, personalized and relevant communications to customers at the right time. Using high-quality data, marketers can better analyze, segment, profile and target customers, resulting in superior marketing campaigns and customer profitability. This allows marketing organizations to clearly demonstrate increased sales and provide an improved return on their marketing cost.

In addition, SAS Marketing Optimization complements the marketing automation and campaign management technologies. It allows A-lehdet marketers to plan and prioritize all outbound customer communications to maximize effectiveness while balancing the organization's capacity to deliver and the customers' likeliness to respond. With SAS Marketing Optimization, A-lehdet can anticipate the economic outcome of campaigns using a Web-based, scenario-planning environment that integrates predictive analytics with constraint-based optimization.
