SAS No. 4 among Best Workplaces in Europe

Analytics leader provides challenging work and great benefits

CARY, NC  (08. Jul. 2013)  – SAS once again earned a top spot on the elite list of Best Multinational Workplaces in Europe, issued by Great Place to Work. The leader in business analytics software and services ranked No. 4, honored for strong, visionary leadership and a commitment to creating the kind of workplace where employees trust their management, have pride in what they do and enjoy working with their colleagues.

SAS recognizes that creating and maintaining a great workplace is good for business.

"Ranking again among the top five multinational companies in Europe is a result of the hard work and dedication of our many SAS country offices. Employee engagement and talent management are a top priority in our daily leadership. It drives our priorities, our projects and our continuously growing business results," said Gunter Cools, SAS EMEA Human Resources Director.

The annual ranking is the most comprehensive study of organizational culture in the world and identifies, on this occasion, the 100 Best Workplaces in Europe. Companies featured on this list must appear on three or more Best Workplaces in Europe lists.

"Companies in this year's ranking are developing organizational cultures dedicated to building trust and camaraderie among their employees," said Robert Levering, Co-Founder and Global CEO of Great Place to Work. "Inclusion on this list reflects companies' commitment to continuously improving the quality of life of employees and setting new standards for organizations in the future."

SAS' renowned corporate culture

This philosophy earned SAS the No. 1 ranking on the 2012 World's Best Workplaces list from Great Place to Work. As a result of the commitment to maintaining a great company culture, the SAS culture is recognized worldwide. SAS attracts the best talent in the industry by bolstering challenging work with employee-friendly benefits. Believing that happy, healthy employees are productive employees, SAS offers a wide range of programs that reduce stress and distraction, so employees can focus on their work – tangible evidence of integrating SAS company values with employee needs.
