SAMENVATTING PRESENTATIE Eric Tai Over the past eight years Octopus has built a transport payments business in Hong Kong that has universal acceptance. Based on this we have extended our reach into retail payments, access control and other identification and authentication businesses. This progression of business extension has allowed us to gather increasingly more valuable information about the behavior and status of our customers. The exciting aspect is that this increasing knowledge base has in turn allowed us to build not only new services but also new businesses on the reservoir of the data/information that has been gathered. What I would like to share with you is the vision we have in building more businesses out of actionable information and how this is going to happen.
