Social Media Analysis (Web Data Access)

 
Obiettivi
In today’s economy, it is essential to quickly understand opinions across the web. It is also necessary to collect text inputs from websites, forums and social networks and social media outlets, and then puts them in a unified format to assess relevance to predefined topics. To do that SAS provides Information Retrieval Studio (IRS). In this course you will learn how to use IRS, a framework and graphical administration interface for crawling, normalizing, analyzing, indexing, and searching text documents. It serves as the default user interface to SAS Web Crawler and Search and Indexing, and provides integration with other products including Content Categorization Server, Sentiment Analysis Server, and Sentiment Analysis Workbench.

The aim of this course is to provide students with a general overview of the basic themes and issues of SAS Web information retrieval methods.
