Milano, 13 luglio 2007 – SAS, the leader in business
intelligence, was recognized with two International Business
Awards for the “You Can” advertising campaign. In addition to winning
the Best Mixed Media Campaign and Best Magazine
Ad Campaign awards, the “You
Can” outdoor advertising campaign was also a finalist in the Best
Outdoor Ad Campaign category.
Drawing inspiration from the animal kingdom, the “You Can” campaign
juxtaposed unusual animal facts with products of SAS’ corporate
realm. The ads were first presented to the public at the SAS® Global
Forum in Orlando in mid-April 2007 and began appearing in publications
such as Business Week, Forbes, Computerworld and Information
Week in
May. The ads have also been used in airport ads in Denver, San Francisco,
Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago and Raleigh, NC.
The fourth annual International Business Awards, the world’s
only international, all-encompassing business awards program received
more than 1,000 nominations from over 30 countries. The awards, nicknamed “the
Stevies,” were presented to 98 International Stevie Award recipients
from 25 countries. SAS was one of nine companies to earn multiple Stevies.
The trophies will be formally presented at a dinner ceremony on Monday,
September 10 in Munich, Germany, marking the first time the IBA banquet
will be held outside the U.S.
In addition to winning the International Business Awards, SAS participated
in the American Business Awards. The “You Can” advertising
campaign was named a finalist in the Best Magazine Ad or Campaign,
Best Mixed Media Campaign and Best Outdoor
Ad or Campaign categories.
The campaign won another international award as well, the gold
