| ROI, customer satisfaction propel SAS in 2007 Apparel Software Scorecard Survey | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Milano (8 giugno 2007) – SAS, the leader in business intelligence, was rated a “Break-Out Leader” in Apparel magazine’s 2007 Software Scorecard Survey because of satisfied production retail customers who gave SAS the highest ROI (return on investment) rating in the Business Intelligence category. SAS also received high customer ratings in the survey’s Overall Satisfaction, User Buy-In/User Friendliness and Customer Service categories. Apparel’s Software Scorecard Survey features the best software vendors serving the apparel marketplace, based exclusively on customer satisfaction ratings. Each year, customers rate their vendors according to the system functionalities they have used, such as business intelligence, warehouse management, supply chain management/sourcing, production, ERP, PLM/product development, design/CAD and color management. Within these software types, vendors are scored on overall satisfaction, apparel market knowledge, ROI, user buy-in/user friendliness and customer service. “Of the approximately 160 apparel- and retail-specific software firms invited to participate in the project, just 50 qualified for inclusion in our Scorecard report,” said Kathleen DesMarteau, Apparel’s Editor in Chief. “So those firms who made the cut have truly demonstrated their excellence in serving our industry.” SAS Global Retail Practice Vice President Lori Schafer notes, “Apparel’s Software Scorecard Survey shows how our customers propel us forward – 2007 promises to be another banner year as we focus on our retail customers’ successes. When we focus on their ROI, their satisfaction and their goals, we win, too.” SAS apparel customers include Carrefour, Eddie Bauer, Federated Department Stores, the Hudson’s Bay Company, JCPenney, Kohl’s, Marks & Spencer, Newport News, The Children’s Place and Tween Brands. There were 363 verified respondents who participated in the scoring process, representing 328 unique apparel retailers, brands and manufacturers.
