CARY, N.C. (Jan. 31, 2005) - DataFlux Corporation
LLC today announced the completion of a successful 2004, witnessing strong
growth in its customer
base, product installations and industry
awards and accolades. With two
significant product releases in 2004, the company enters 2005 well-poised
to expand its position as an emerging force in the data management and
data integration market.
In 2004, DataFlux experienced growth in a variety of areas, including:
- Customer adoption – Organizations selected DataFlux for enterprise-wide
data management and data integration engagements, including new or
enhanced relationships with seven Fortune 500 companies. In 2004, DataFlux
signed
licensing agreements with Kohler Co., Tyco
International, Dex Media and TriCenturion.
- Product innovation – With the launch of Release 6.2 in July,
DataFlux enhanced its data management platform to provide a comprehensive
set of
solutions that deliver powerful, integrated components such as data
profiling, data quality and data monitoring. This single-platform functionality
allows
users to analyze, improve and control data quality from the same easy-to-use
interface.
- Revenue growth – DataFlux saw positive revenue and earnings
growth in 2004 with revenue nearly doubling in 2004 over 2003.
- Geographic expansion – DataFlux opened offices in Boston, Chicago,
Dallas, Denver and Pittsburgh. Internationally, the DataFlux European
office continued to leverage its relationship with SAS Institute Inc.,
the parent company of DataFlux, along with new partnerships worldwide
to drive global interest in DataFlux technology.
- Industry recognition – DataFlux climbed 27 spots in the annual
DM Review 100 awards, placing No. 42 in the 2004 ranking.
