Brief outline of current responsibilities

As a Customer Intelligence Domain Expert, within the SAS Global CI Practice, Neil advises  organizations from all industry sectors on the development and deployment of Marketing Best Practices, and has specific responsibility for the planning, coordination and execution of SAS strategies in the European Arena associated with the full range of SAS Customer Intelligence solutions.

Length of time in current position

Neil joined the SAS Global Practice team in March 2001, having previously worked for the specialist Campaign Management software company, Intrinsic, whom SAS acquired at that time. 

Previous title and employer and very brief description of responsibilities

Prior to joining SAS, Neil held the roles of Consultancy Manager and Principal Consultant at Intrinsic.

Through these roles, Neil was responsible both for the management of a consultancy delivery team, whilst also acting as Project Director on a number of major delivery projects, both in the UK and internationally.

Areas of expertise gained from career to date

Both with SAS and previously with Intrinsic, Neil has extensive international experience of successful delivery and management of marketing automation solutions in a wide variety of industries, particularly financial services. Since joining SAS as Program Manager and Domain Expert, Neil has brought that 'in the field experience' to bear on the design strategy for SAS Marketing Automation, and more recently other CI solutions such as SAS Marketing Optimization, SAS Interaction Management and SAS Digital Marketing, helping to take SAS Customer Intelligence solutions to the forefront of the industry.

Prior to joining Intrinsic, Neil was program manager at a large UK Financial Services organisation - responsible for the selection and deployment of new marketing systems and processes - including those of Intrinsic!

Neil is an engineer by original degree, and holds a masters degree in business administration.

As a Customer Intelligence Domain Expert, within the SAS Global CI Practice, David advises  organizations from all industry sectors on the development and deployment of Marketing Best Practices, and has specific responsibility for the planning, coordination and execution of SAS strategies in the European Arena associated with the full range of SAS Customer Intelligence solutions.

David joined the SAS Global CI Practice in January 2006, prior to that holding positions as Principal Consultant and Delivery Consultancy Manager within SAS UK, developing extensive, cross-sector, business consulting experience, delivering value to international customers through the design and implementation of SAS Customer Intelligence solutions. He has used his extensive business consulting experience to develop consultative, value-driven, engagement methodologies, now used widely throughout the SAS CI community.

Prior to joining SAS, David held the role of Principal Consultant within Intrinsic, a specialist Campaign Management vendor acquired by SAS in 2001 and before that, his experience spans 13 years within the UK Financial Services industry, most recently managing a CRM function for a large banking organisation.
