SAS is #1 on the list of Best Workplaces in Greece
(24. april 2013)
– It was a notable award for SAS Greece, which now tops the list of the Best Workplaces in the country. Specifically, the leader in business analytics software and services ranked first among companies with 20-49 employees on the annual list, "Best Workplaces in Greece for 2013," from Great Place to Work® Institute Hellas.
This year's distinction continues last year's success, when SAS Greece ranked second in its first appearance on the list of companies with the best workplaces in the country.
"This achievement makes us particularly proud, as in just two years' time we already rank among companies with the best working environments nationwide. The climb from #2 to the #1 position was made possible through the vital, 100 percent response rate of our employees," said Nikos Peppas, SAS Country Manager for Greece, Cyprus and Bulgaria.

For SAS Greece, this distinction takes on even greater importance given the serious economic crisis the country faces. It demonstrates the local commitment to SAS' internationally recognized employee-centric culture, part of a comprehensive, dynamic strategy to attract and retain the best people through trust, flexibility and company values.
SAS Greece's working environment promotes open communication, fair distribution of opportunities, creativity and innovation, and a good balance between work and private life. Employees receive the same value from SAS as they offer to the company, a sense that ultimately translates into excellent relationships with customers and partners. Moreover, with many opportunities for professional development and the knowledge that their views and proposals are seriously considered by top management, employees take pride in being part of the company and strive to perform at their best.
"We are confident that our continuous investment in our people will decisively contribute to our goal in 2013: to maintain and reinforce company growth rates and continue our emphasis on the deep satisfaction of our employees, who are the driving force of our success," Nikos Peppas concluded.
