Fortis Retail Banking standardizes business intelligence with SAS® Enterprise Intelligence Platform

SAS’ integrated data management and business intelligence environment will help Fortis Retail Banking to reach double digit growth objectives.

Tervuren (July 2007) – To boost Sales & Service effectiveness and support Retail Banking’s double digit growth objectives, Fortis Retail Banking choose SAS Enterprise Intelligence Platform to help them enhance the structure, quality, richness and delivery of customer and financial data for operational reporting, campaign management, performance management and data mining purposes.

SAS Enterprise Data Integration Server and SAS Enterprise BI Server will help Fortis to realize these goals.

Since the end of 2006 Deloitte Consulting, a SAS Platinum Consulting Partner, is supporting Fortis Retail Banking in their Business Intelligence journey. Before the tool selection process, Deloitte helped Fortis Retail Banking to define the business intelligence (BI) vision, the BI roadmap and the business case. Next steps were the architecture design followed by the tool selection process. Being an independent party, Deloitte played a crucial role during the selection process and the proof of concept. In Belgium Deloitte has a dedicated team of 30 Business Intelligence consultants, focusing on BI Strategy and BI implementations.
