SAS BeLux Update
IN THIS ISSUE

Editorial

Dear readers,

I hope you all enjoyed the holiday season and I want to wish you all a healthy and prosperous year!

In this first SAS Belux Update of the new year, you will find more information about SAS solutions, tips, upcoming events and useful resources.

The year just started, but we already fixed the date for our yearly SAS Forum Belgium & Luxembourg; make sure to block your agenda for the biggest business analytics conference in Belgium on 7th October! The SAS Forum will take place in the Aula Magna in Louvain-la-Neuve. As every year, we want this event to be a platform where all SAS users can share information.

If you want to share your experiences with SAS, why and how you implemented a solution, what challenges you encountered and what benefits you achieved, please let us know! You can send an e-mail to events@sbx.sas.com or call your account manager.

How can we help you?

SAS® 9.2 Web application support for Integrated Windows Authentication

This is possible for clients like Enterprise Guide, SAS DI Studio, and web applications, like Web Report Studio. Its benefits : bypasses the initial logon prompt accommodates logon mechanisms that are not password-based (such as smart cards or biometrics). It is primarily used for connections to the metadata server, the workspace server and direct connections to an OLAP server. See this SAS Note and page 148 of SAS® 9.2 Intelligence Platform Security Administration Guide.
