Therefore, you can find in this article a link to the new experimental procedure “quantile regression”, background information on SAS Belgium winning the Top Employer and ADMB award, new SAS Solution for Customer Experience Analytics, a view on upcoming events open for academic user as well as a book – written by Professors at UCL available in the SAS bookstore.

Happy reading!

The experimental Quantile regression procedure is available for download

Quantile regression extends the regression model to conditional quantiles of the response variable. This is particularly useful when the rate of change in the conditional quantile, expressed by the regression coefficients, depends on the quantile. The main advantage of quantile regression over least-squares regression is its flexibility for modeling data with heterogeneous conditional distributions. Discover this procedure here

SAS Belgium selected as ‘Top Employers’ in Belgium for 2009

Top Employers 2009After an extensive survey, conducted by CRF in collaboration with international HR research and advice bureau, the Hay Group, recently published their list of 35 Top Employers … and SAS Belgium was up there with the best.
SAS Belgium achieved the top score of 5 stars on four of the five factors (primary conditions of service, secondary conditions of service, training and education, and organizational culture) and 4 stars in the remaining factor(internal promotion opportunities). This is an outstanding performance against any standards. More information here

SAS wins the ADMB award 2008 for the summer-of-SAS – do not miss the Edition 2009

The full jury appreciated the Summer-of-SAS for its innovation and simplicity: it proves that what is often perceived as a problem on the labor market can be looked upon as a new business opportunity. More here

As there is still a huge demand for SAS skilled young graduates, SAS will organize this summer for the third consecutive time, the summer of SAS. Spread the word and keep an eye on your mailbox as the promotional campaign will start in a couple of weeks!
