SAS Forum Belgium & Luxembourg
Aula Magna, Louvain-la-Neuve, 12 Octobre 2006

On October 12th, more than 500 people attended the SAS Forum in Louvain-la-Neuve. Both SAS customers and SAS experts gave over 50 presentations, demonstrations and hands-on sessions about business cases, SAS technology and business topics.

This year there were two academic papers:

  • Bart Larivière from the University of Ghent gave a very successful presentation on “Churn Prediction at AXA Belgium: Pitfalls and Methodological Concerns” which more than 70 people attended.
  • Prof. Eddy Torfs from VUB presented the collaboration between SAS and VUB for the development of a Business Case using SAS/ITSLM that was and will be used in a course on “Auditing, Security, Privacy and Ethical Problems” at VUB.

For an impression of this enlightening and inspiring day, please look at the Photo Gallery.
