SAS Australia still growing in the Far WestSYDNEY & PERTH, Australia (10 Mar 2009) – The headcount at SAS Australia’s Perth office has this month been increased by the appointment of Dominic McCann in a business development role. SAS is the leader in business analytics and the largest independent business intelligence vendor. In his new role, McCann joins a team charged with the acquisition of new WA customers for SAS’ business analytics and other leading software solutions, together with managing and further developing SAS’ relationships with its existing base. McCann’s primary focus is to be providing solutions within the public sector. Dominic McCann was previously in sales and consulting positions in both the UK and this country with Dell and Accenture, amongst other prominent organisations. Hailing from Scotland – a country not noted for its outdoor water sports – McCann is a past-President of the windsurfing and surfing arm of the Scottish University Sports Foundation.
