SAS and Teradata unveil Advantage Program to bring powerful In-Database solutions and services to customersNew offerings and implementation services deliver significant business benefitsSYDNEY, Australia (28 Oct 2008) – SAS, the leader in business analytics software and Teradata Corporation (NYSE: TDC), the global leader in enterprise data warehousing, have announced an innovative program that enables organisations to more quickly and effectively leverage SAS’ market-leading software within Teradata’s enterprise data warehouse environment. Consisting of new product and service offerings, the SAS and Teradata Advantage Program is designed to help customers quickly realise and act on analytic-driven decisions that will dramatically impact their business’ bottom line. Gordon Clubb, managing director SAS Australia & New Zealand, said, “SAS has been working cooperatively with Teradata here since early this year and that there are currently a number of joint sales proposals in train with key identified clients”. The first phase of delivering in-database capabilities within Teradata environments was announced earlier this year.
