DATAFLUX POSITIONED IN LEADERS QUADRANT FOR 2008 DATA QUALITY TOOLS MAGIC QUADRANT

Sydney (June 12, 2008) - DataFlux, a leading provider of data quality and data integration solutions and subsidiary of SAS, today announced that Gartner, Inc. has positioned the company in the leaders quadrant of the analyst firm’s “Magic Quadrant for Data Quality Tools” report.

DataFlux provides award-winning solutions that address each phase of the data governance continuum – data profiling, data quality, data integration, data enrichment and data monitoring. The company’s core technology platform establishes an infrastructure that continually transforms raw data into consistent, accurate and reliable information. The platform also features an intuitive interface that helps both business and IT users alike to manage problematic data.

“DataFlux has long excelled in the effort to put the power of data quality tools in the hands of business analysts, data stewards and other staff whose job is dependent on a flow of clean, usable data,” said Tony Fisher, president and CEO of DataFlux.

Fisher visited Australia recently to meet DataFlux customers and Jillian Macmurchy SAS data integration solution manager said, “As the amount of information in the enterprise grows, organisations require more of this business-side involvement to perform next-generation data governance efforts. DataFlux is committed to provide our customers the solutions they need to manage their data effectively, helping them to turn data into a strategic asset.”

According to the report authored by Ted Friedman and Andreas Bitterer, “Organisations of all sizes and in all industries are recognising the importance of high-quality data and the critical role of data quality in information governance and stewardship driven by broader enterprise information management initiatives. As a result, their interest in the role of tools and technology for data quality improvement continues to grow.”

Over the past year, DataFlux has introduced several new product offerings, including pre-bundled data management workflows called the DataFlux Accelerators. Using an evolutionary approach to delivering enterprise data quality and data integration initiatives, DataFlux Accelerators allow companies to move from tactical data quality deployments to full-scale corporate data management initiatives.

Additionally, DataFlux continued its expansion by opening additional European offices. DataFlux continues to add increased foreign language to the DataFlux technology platform to address the data quality needs around the globe.
