SAS® Operational Risk Sales More Than Doubles in 2007

SYDNEY, Australia  (11 Apr 2008)  –  Sales of SAS® OpRisk Management jumped in 2007 to an increase of 105 per cent over 2006. This record revenue is evidence that financial services institutions continue to recognise business intelligence leader SAS as a key component in governance, risk and compliance (GRC) management. SAS recognises financial institutions’ need to measure and manage operational risk in a scientific way – not just for regulatory purposes, but also for making sound business decisions. Clearly, the many recent awards and recognitions for operational risk management based on customer feedback have paid off for SAS.
