SAS Launches Software Reseller Program The business intelligence (BI) market is among the fastest growing worldwide*, and SAS will add to that growth with a new channel network partner program for value-added resellers (VARs), systems integrators and independent software vendors. These outside vendors will sell SAS software to small and midsized businesses in the Americas, helping the company deliver BI software efficiently and cost-effectively. "Alliances play a critical part in SAS' overall business strategy for delivering and implementing SAS software. Now we're going to the next level by including a 'sell-through' approach," says Dr. Jim Goodnight, CEO of SAS. "Building out our network of partners to formally include VARs gives us an excellent opportunity to build our revenue stream and ensure that businesses of all sizes have better access to the power of SAS Business Intelligence.
